I have always felt that ‘where I lived” was as important as ‘what I did’ and when I moved to western Massachusetts in 1975 I knew that I had found my ‘home’. I feel fortunate to live in an area where the pace of life can be a bit slower. Where one can enjoy fresh produce from local farm stands and look forward the yearly county fairs. An area that celebrates the arts and honors quality education.
After graduating from Wheaton College with a degree in Art History I moved to Franklin County to teach at The Eaglebrook School in Deerfield, and furthered my education at the University of MA earning a masters degree in Art Education. I completed the intensive ten month program at Hallmark Institute of Photography where I graduated at the top of my class, and was honored with The Most Professional Portfolio Award. I have always had a deep appreciation for architecture and its environment be it cottage, modern or historic. In 1982 I fell in love….with an 1868 Victorian house and passionately spent the next 35 years actively involved in its restoration. Having fallen in love with historic homes, I've not only sold many but restored my own. Through this journey I have understand their unique essence and beauty.
In restoring my Victorian, I established a portrait photography business on the premises. Chances are I have photographed many of you at various stages in your lives. Servicing the surrounding community’s photographic needs for over 37 years, I based my business on quality, honesty and good will. I am delighted now to bring these attributes forward in my 8th year as your realtor.
Combining my love for architecture and photography along with a genuine interest in working with people, I have found the perfect blend of my skills and talents in the field of real estate.
